The PERSONAL BUYING CONSULTATION is our answer to the many requests Uma receives every week to provide design assistance and style recommendations to Furbish customers.
For a small fee a Furbish design associate will come to your home and review your furniture and decor buying needs. She or he will then come back with a presentation of furnishings custom selected for you and your home. You make your choices and we will handle the purchasing details. It's simple.
The PERSONAL BUYING CONSULTATION is intended to assist you in choosing the best possible items from our wide selection of seating, tables, case pieces, storage, lighting, rugs, accessories, and art. Each line we carry and all of our signature pieces have been personally selected by Uma. We also provide custom window treatments in the styles that Uma uses for her design clients.

The consultation includes basic measuring. We consider your existing furnishings and provide advice on furniture layouts and wall color as needed. The design associate may create sketches to give you a clear sense of how recommended pieces will work for you.
In addition to education in the field of interior design, each associate has also worked alongside Uma and received training in combining colors, materials, and styles in her signature way. By working on major design projects, the associates receive valuable experience in making choices that produce beautiful rooms.
